Command ‘Add gateway’¶

Function: This command opens the Gateway dialog where you can define a gateway channel and add it to the current device configuration.

Call: Menu bar: Gateway in the Communication dialog of the device editor.

Dialog ‘Gateway’¶

Name Name of the gateway.

Drivers Driver type from a drop-down list.

Driver-specific settings, for example:

IP address, port

Editable after double-clicking the predefined value. A short description for each parameter is displayed in the lower part of the dialog.

Note: You can also specify the address of a DNS domain. This has to begin with dns: (example: dns:MyDynDNSAdress).

The dialog is also used for later editing of the gateway entries of your project.
